On Tuesday 4th April 2023, the committee and representatives from each team of the Lowestoft League gathered together to discuss the successes of the last year of netball.
It was with sadness that Chair Sharon announced the passing of Debbie Parker, who lost her long battle with cancer. Debbie was a dedicated and loyal player for Wasps, and also played for Sapphire. She often played Wing Defence, though she would play any position to help out, and was always at the league's social events. Debbie will be truly missed by all the netball community, especially Wasps and Belton.
Finances were discussed by Treasurer Lorraine. League umpires were thanked for their efforts over the last year, especially those in training, their mentors, and those who stepped up to cover last-minute fixtures. If you'd like to become an umpire, please speak to any of our umpires or the Umpiring Secretary.
